The
Training Future Leaders Program is, first and foremost, a leadership
development program. Successful TFL applicants will have demonstrated
the potential to serve as private and public sector leaders and managers who
can play prominent roles in the development of their national and regional
economies and societies. Successful TFL applicants will also have a
demonstrated commitment to addressing the needs of their local communities.

Applicants must have an excellent academic record with a minimum GPA
equivalent to 3.0 or above. As this is a graduate program, all applicants are
expected to have completed a first university or college degree (the

Prior to departure for the US to begin their master’s studies,
applicants will be required to submit official Test of English as a Foreign
Language (TOEFL) scores which meet US university admission requirements. In
addition, business applicants must submit Graduate Management Aptitude Test
(GMAT) scores. Applicants in all other fields of study will be required to
submit Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores. All candidates will be
expected to have strong English language proficiency and communications skills
before they begin studying in the 4.
Priority will be given to candidates currently employed who have at
least two (2) years of
professional experience relevant to the proposed field of study, and who are
nominated by their employer. Consideration will also be given to candidates
who have a demonstrated commitment to their field of study either through
community services, activities, involvement in associations, or similar. 5.
